Behind the lens: In the wild, cheetah cubs have an extremely high mortality rate making it difficult for them to reach adulthood. These two cubs were part of a litter of 4, and unfortunately none survived - making this image even more special to me. We spotted this family of 5 and tried to follow them, although the cubs kept getting lost in the tall grass of the savannah. While searching for them, their heads popped out of the grass as they sat on a small mound, making it a picture perfect moment.
